The time has passed away with us, and our lives passed away like as it were unto us a dream, we being a lonesome and solemn people, wanderers, cast out from Jerusalem, born in tribulation, in a wilderness, and hated of our brethren.
Jacob 7:26
Okay, maybe that is a little too dramatic. Though some of it it spot on.
It's been a difficult year. Lots of learning, lots of trial and challenge. But I'm honestly happy for the things I've learned and experienced. I don't think I could have learned the things I've learned and experienced the things I have experienced any other way.
It's weird to think of a time when I wont be wearing a name tag, and when I will be able to fully pursue my ambitions and dreams, and basically get on with my life. This whole missionary experience has become my short term memory, when I dream I'm wearing the clothes and I always seem to have a tie on. My conversations are all about salvation and the sacrifice Christ made for all of us.
It's such a long shot from where I was 13 months ago. But I'm happy for the change. And I still have 12 more months of learning and experiences.
I hope everyone is having a good time, and that things have been well with all of you.
take care.
Sincerely
Michael
